President’s Greeting

    Daewon University was founded in 1995 as a sister university of the Semyung University. It is a young university that fosters competent industry talents with expertise and personality. In the spacious and comfortable campus, more than 2,400 students of 25 departments (majors) are devoting their youth and enthusiasm dreaming to be experts in each field.

    Our university, which pursues inspirational education, has the best educational facilities and operates a variety of educational programs to meet the needs of students. Through Mentoring of love, professors and students who are full of educational passion maintain intimate relationship like family.Through the personality classes that invite celebrities and the campus life success camps, students may develop a balanced personality. In addition, systematic majors in which theory and practice are harmonized, field-oriented practice in conjunction with industry and various job improvement programs will surely realize students' dreams for professionals.

    Our university, which pursues employment characterized university, has achieved high employment rate each year for the past 10 years. In addition to the university-industry collaborations with a number of industries located in the capital area, there are a variety of career professors who are responsible for the graduation, various career development programs, and career success camps and those are the firm foundation based on which our university could implemented high employment rate continuously.

    Daewon University aims to be a university that provides students with satisfaction and pleasure. We provide long-distance bus service including Seoul, the state-of-the-art dormitory and various welfare facilities and this is a big pride which only our university may have.
